Locally-harvested lobster, crab and fresh fish
Chris and Carolyn Manning and their four children run a beautiful lobster boat named the “Carolyn M.” They haul from 800 traps and land them at their home dock in Hull and bring them straight to the Quincy Farmers Market. Chris has been lobstering since 1982.
Lobster Business Update
Local lobstermen were decimated last year due to a unusually warm winter which created a supply glut, pushing prices to 30 year lows, nearly 70% below normal, engendering product dumping into our local market.
